Design Engineer
RISTICH is looking for an Design Engineer
istich is a Los Angeles–based product and packaging development firm partnering with premium brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, CPG, hospitality, and entertainment. We operate at the intersection of design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain — helping clients move complex physical products from concept through production with clarity and discipline. We’re seeking a Design Engineer to take products from concept to production — translating design intent into manufacturable, scalable solutions.
The Mission:
As a Design Engineer at Ristich, you will own the technical development of products across client programs — ensuring they are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with design intent. You’ll work closely with industrial design, sourcing, and production teams to bridge the gap between concept and reality. This role is for someone who understands that engineering isn’t theoretical — it’s about making decisions that hold up in production.
Mission Qualifications:
3–7+ years experience in product design engineering or mechanical engineering
Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)
Experience with plastics, metals, and common manufacturing processes
Understanding of DFM, DFA, and production constraints
Comfortable working with overseas manufacturers and vendors
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Clear communicator — able to work across design, sourcing, and production
Strong plus:
Experience in packaging, consumer products, or CPG
Familiarity with tooling, molds, and production setup
Background working alongside industrial design teams
Mission Compensation:
We pay for performance, ownership, and long-term value creation. Base Compensation Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) Performance Incentives Bonuses tied to project success, execution, and impact (Exact compensation details are shared during the interview process.)
